Bio

I have taught at the college or university level for almost ten years now. I have a broad base of understandings and have taught classes from humanities to finance to economics to literature. I took college calculus and have above-average writing skills. I also have a series 7 license and feel comfortable tutoring for those exams.

Both of my parents were teachers, so I feel that teaching or tutoring is in my DNA!

Passion and patience are the key to teaching.

Patient tutor

He really was patient. I think he will be able to get me through to the finish line. He took the time to explain the real reasoning beyond the terminology. I like how well thought out his tutoring was.

Great listener and knowledgeable instructor.

Bill was respectful and tactful with suggestions and corrections. His timely responses helped me to edit and deliver a professional evaluation letter on time. I appreciated his experience as an instructor: he is patient and gives excellent analogies when explaining grammatical rules and norms. I would hire him again in a heartbeat!

Great GMAT tutor

We went through a section for the GMAT test and I realized I had been looking at the section inaccurately. He broke it down and showed me how to dive deeper into critical thinking for that section.

William was fabulous, all around. Knowledgeable, patient, and thorough in explanations. His humor added to make it fun while learning. Will definitely request again. Thanks!

Excellent, knowledgable, patient tutor. Highly recommended!

I worked with Bill over the last several weeks to try and get ready to take my final in Finance, which is also my last class before graduating with a BS in Business Management. I failed the course the first time I took it six months ago, which never happened before in any other class. As a result, I signed up with Wyzant and Bill was my tutor and after weeks of working with him, I passed my final! I honestly can say I would not have passed this course and obtained my degree without someone of Bill's educational knowledge to assist me.

Best tutor ever!

Bill is the wonderful tutor. He loves what he does, and he is very good at it. He is very patient with his students and knows how to encourage. Great mind, great teacher, and great personality! Easy to communicate with and every session is a positive experience. I am incredibly grateful for everything he has done for me and for all I could learn from Bill.
